White Oak Community Christmas Bicycle Giveaway @ WOUMC
WOBC’s first ever community bicycle event occurred at the corner of Lyndon Ave and Memorial Ave in Red Bank WOBC in April 2021. WOBC always looks forward to having the opportunity to give bicycles out in neighborhood where it all began. More details to come. Event time is still tentative.
League Cycling Instructor (LCI) seminar
White Oak Bicycle Cooperative looks forward to partnering with League of American Bicyclists to host a 3-day League Cycling Instructor (LCI) seminar where prospective bike safety educators will receive training on cycling instruction using the League’s Smart Cycling curriculum. This training is great for bike clubs, ride leaders, parks and rec staff, traffic engineers, city planners, police officers, or anyone who wants to help make their city bicycle friendly!

Cam Run (Bicycle Parking)

Signal Mountain Ride & Rodeo
The Signal Mountain Police Department and the White Oak Bicycle Co-op will be hosting a Bike Event on SATURDAY, May 20th at 9:30am ET. Those attending will have an opportunity to ask questions about bike safety, get helmets fitted and learn about basic bike maintenance. Join SMPD on a short bike ride that will end with a bike rodeo. Our Firefighters will be lending a hand with the rodeo course for those that stay to participate.
Participants will meet in the youth parking lot of the Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church starting at 9:30am to check-in and then there will be a safety check and a safety talk. The bike ride starts at 10:00 a.m. Members of the Signal Mountain Police Department will escort the community along a safe ~1.5-mile bike ride within Old Towne (see map provided). Participants must wear a helmet and anyone under 13 should have an adult accompany them on the ride. Riders should demonstrate the ability to ride a bike safely on the road. If you do not have a bike or helmet, we will have a few that we can provide for the event.

White Oak Community Easter Event
WOBC is excited to participate in the White Oak Community Easter event! Mechanics will be on hand to perform safety checks and basic repair on bicycles for children and youth. Need a bike? WOBC will also have 10+ bicycles for children and youth to giveaway.

WOBC is excited to be a part of the grand opening festivities of Lula Lake Land Trust’s newest trail system!
MAIN X24 Pop-Up Bicycle Playground
The southside’s most wonderful day of the year is just around the corner! Come see us on Station Street during the #mainx24 Fest and test your skills in our pop-up bicycle playground! Recommended for children 12 and under. Bring your own bike or borrow one of ours.
