Our Staff

Kat Volzer, Director of Programming

Over the past five years, Kat has hosted and taught over 450 bicycle safety education programs, reaching over 20,000 participants in the Greater Chattanooga area.  She is a League of American Bicyclists certified cycling instructor (LCI) and a Professional Mountain Bike Instructor (PMBIA--Level 1).  She graduated from Coker College, Magna Cum Laude, in 2009 with a double major in English and Communication and obtained her Master’s in Public Relations from Boston University in 2011.  On the rare occasion she’s not playing bikes personally or professionally, Kat loves spending time adventuring with her husband, Jake, reading and playing with their son, Heath, and chasing two dogs, Waffles and Chicken.
