Bicycle Transportation Initiative
Helping Chattanoogans Move Forward
WOBC’s On the Road Again program provides free bicycles and repair services to people who lack reliable transportation, including neighbors experiencing homelessness, in recovery, reentering the community after involvement with the justice system, and veterans facing transportation barriers.
Through partnerships with local nonprofits, government agencies, WOBC distributes hundreds of bikes each year, helping individuals access jobs, services, and opportunities on their path to greater stability and independence.

Free Bicycles for Community Organizations
WOBC provides free access to refurbished bicycles to community organizations who serve individuals experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or are in need of a reliable form of transportation.

Free Repair: Mobile Bicycle Shop
WOBC’s mobile bicycle repair shop travels around the Chattanooga region and provides free bicycle repair services

iFixit Bicycle Distribution Center
The Bike Box on-demand distribution center enables dozens of agencies to provide bicycles to clients when needed.
