Yoseph’s Bikes
The Yoseph Alabdulwahab Memorial Bicycle Fund was established in memory of our friend and dedicated volunteer mechanic whose passion for service and community left a lasting impact on WOBC. This fund honors Yoseph’s legacy by providing new bicycles to schools and community organizations, helping more children in the Chattanooga area access the joy of riding a bicycle.

Shaping WOBC’s Mission
Yoseph’s impact on WOBC cannot be overstated. At a time when doors were closed, he broke through barriers and opened critical connections to the bicycle industry. Yoseph’s efforts resulted in WOBC finally gaining access to wholesale accounts and affordable new bicycles, saving thousands of dollars and accelerating WOBC’s ability to serve the community. Yoseph’s work laid the foundation for WOBC’s growth, and his spirit lives on in every bicycle we provide to the community.
Difference Maker
Yoseph’s was the kind of person who rolled up his sleeves and got things done. Whenever WOBC faced a challenge or needed an extra hand, Yoseph was there to help. One of his lasting contributions was his work on WOBC’s Bike Box initiative. As WOBC explored was to improve bicycle distribution to community agencies, Yoseph helped shape and build the system that has gone on to provide transportation to hundreds of people in need in the Chattanooga area.
Doer
Yoseph created paths for others to follow, inspiring countless people to experience the joy of riding a bicycle. He organized group rides that brought WOBC volunteers together and helped build a strong sense of community. Yoseph was also a major contributor to the development of bikechatt.com, a partnership between iFixit and WOBC to create Chattanooga’s most comprehensive bicycle map.
Trailblazer
Amplifier
Yoseph used his engaging personality and ability to connect with others to amplify the mission of WOBC. Whether he was lending his expertise to improve WOBC’s online presence and marketing or simply handing out stickers and key chains at community events, Yoesph found ways to spread the word about our work in the community and carried our message farther than we could have imagined.
